​Our home is your home: Marchula Estate has been created with the utmost care. It is the result of several years of ideation and hard work. Please be kind to our spaces, and treat them as you would your own home.

​Drinking water: In our commitment to sustainability, we provide our guests with mineral-rich natural spring water, filtered and safe for drinking. We do not stock any bottled water to minimise the impact of plastic.

​Outsiders or visitors: Non guests are not allowed to enter or stay at the house, unless prior consent has bee obtained from the hosts.        

Loud music & sounds: Please be mindful of all guests, animals and birds within and surrounding our property. It is not permitted to play loud music or create noises that may be disturbing to others.         

Quiet hours: Conversations at high decibel levels in outdoor areas is prohibited post 10 PM as a mark of respect to other guests as well as our surroundings.

​Power supply: There can be intermittent power cuts and load shedding. Our power back up is 100% solar energy reliant and can run lights & fans for 4 - 6 hours in the event  of a power cut. We do not have any generators.

​Insects & animals: Even though pest control is conducted regularly, some pests may find their way in through open doors and windows. We request you to keep your doors and windows closed at all times for your own protection.

​Low light zone: It is a low light zone to minimise the disturbance to local wildlife.     

Trash segregation: We encourage you to segregate your trash in the separate bins provided in the rooms.

​Alcohol consumption: is allowed within designated areas. We do not sell alcohol or cigarettes. Alcohol consumption is prohibited by the river outside the property. 

​Illegal activities: are strictly not permitted, and action may be taken against guests that do not adhere to the rules.

​No smoking: Guests are prohibited from smoking indoors. Guests can smoke outdoors and ensure correct waste disposal. The common dining areas; the deck and patio will be non smoking as the space is shared with other guests. A fine of INR 5,000 will be levied for smoking in the rooms.

​Liability: Marchula Estate is not liable for any damages, losses, or injuries sustained by guests while on the property, including those resulting from accidents, theft, or natural disasters.      

​Cooking: Cooking using induction or other methods is prohibited in the rooms.

CCTVs: Cameras are placed in common areas of the property for your safety.

Damages: Any damages to property (including furniture & linen) will be the liability of the guests, and will be charged as per the cost of repairs and replacement.
